Elana Sasson is a vocalist and composer creating music at the intersection of Kurdish and Persian traditions, contemporary jazz, and Mediterranean influences. Exploring identity and duality, she merges emotive melodies and diverse instrumentation to bridge tradition and modernity. Her voice was praised by Songlines Magazine as “an arrestingly beautiful focus,” earning "Golestan" a 4-star review. At the festival, she will present her latest album, which is due to be released in April.
