KEYON HARROLD (USA)

Award-winning trumpeter, vocalist, composer and producer Keyon Harrold is one of the most prominent figures in the contemporary jazz scene. His career has included collaborations with artists such as Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Erykah Badu, D’Angelo and Gregory Porter, who have infused his style with elements of funk, Afrobeat, R&B, rock and roll and hip-hop.

Harrold first came to the spotlight for his work as the trumpet voice behind the Grammy-winning Miles Davis film “Miles Ahead”. His album “The Mugician” also received critical acclaim. Wynton Marsalis has called him “the future of the trumpet”, and Harrold is recognized as one of the most innovative musicians in the genre.
