MILES ELECTRIC BAND (USA)

Founded in 2010 by GRAMMY and EMMY Award-winning drummer and producer Vince Wilburn Jr.—nephew of Miles Davis—the Miles Electric Band (M.E.B.) brings together alumni of Miles Davis’ groups alongside leading voices of today’s jazz scene. With a rotating all-star lineup, the ensemble continues to expand on the groundbreaking electric period of Miles Davis, one of the most innovative chapters in modern music.

Their performances blend new material with reinterpretations inspired by Davis’ late work, maintaining a spirit of experimentation and evolution. The latest album, That You Not Dare To Forget (Sony Legacy), features previously unreleased recordings by Miles himself, alongside contributions from legends such as Ron Carter, Marcus Miller, and John Scofield. In 2026, the band presents a special program celebrating the Miles Davis Centennial, honoring his legacy through bold, forward-thinking performances.
