MISTA FUTURE

The idea of "Mista Future" is inspired by the analog synthesis and its combination with live instruments. In search of a hip-hop sound, ethereal melodic lines are placed on low-sounding harmonies and rhythmic "contradictions" Mista Future creates a movement through several genres, music with contemporary form and a hidden foreground. The composer and producer of the project is Georgi Iliev, the beatboxer Galin Nenov - KillaBee participated in the recordings. Mista Future was presented at the Varna Jazz Days festival in 2021. A month after the event, two tracks from the album already sound like an audio cap for the show "45 oborota v minuta" on Horizon-Radio Varna. In the following year, a remastered version by Mladen Dimitrov - Mr. Moon, and Georgi Iliev already uses Mista Future as an artistic pseudonym, which prefers to be associated with projects with an alternative-experimental focus. The musicians in the group have a long-standing partnership in various musical formations.
