ETHÉREA (BG)

Ethérea is a Bulgarian band founded in 2025 with the mission to bring traditional folklore into a contemporary musical context.

Their sound blends elements of jazz, funk, alternative, ambient, psychedelic and rock, creating a style that is both rooted in tradition and open to exploration. The group works with lesser-known Bulgarian folk songs, reimagining them through rich and layered arrangements while preserving their original character. Ethérea’s performances go beyond the concert format, often incorporating performative elements and a strong visual dimension. Each show unfolds as a journey between the ancient and the modern, inviting the audience into an immersive experience. The band has released two singles and is currently working on its debut album.
