At A to JazZ, we are committed to developing the festival with minimal environmental impact. Every year, we strive to implement innovative and effective strategies to manage waste, reduce our carbon footprint, and eliminate single-use plastics during the event. In 2024, we became the first cultural event in Bulgaria to measure its ecological footprint. This milestone was achieved in collaboration with Positive Planet Events, who awarded A to JazZ a certificate recognizing our high standards and efforts to reduce environmental pollution.

Our journey toward becoming a green and zero-waste festival is ongoing. Thanks to our reusable festival cups, we’ve already reduced single-use plastic consumption by over 50%. We separate all waste for proper disposal and are actively seeking a technical solution to replace diesel generators in the festival park. Over the next three years, we will focus on gradually adopting Europe’s best sustainability practices for festivals.
