GUEORGUI KORNAZOV BRASS SPIRIT (BG/FR)

With ”Autumn Impressions”, Bulgarian trombonist Gueorgui Kornazov creates a musical journey in which breath, light, and autumn poetry are transformed into sound. With his ensemble Brass Spirit, Kornazov explores a space where contemporary jazz, Balkan lyricism, and the warm timbres of brass converge. Extending the gentle atmosphere revealed in the single ”Gentle Wind”, the album unfolds a series of sensory landscapes: the whisper of the wind, shifting colors, suspended time. Autumn Impressions is an invitation to contemplation, to a fulfilled silence, to inner movement.

This quintet highlights Gueorgui Kornazov’s virtuosity and emotional depth through irresistible melodies and vibrant improvisations. Supported by an atypical instrumentation combining brass, drums, and accordion, the project showcases his ability to merge Bulgarian traditions with contemporary jazz. An album where refined arrangements meet the power of sonic imagery, and where Kornazov once again proves his ability to transform emotion into musical impression.
