MARTHE X PILANI BUBU (FR)

Marthe x Pilani Bubu is a collaboration between the French trans-oriental jazz-rock collective Marthe and South African singer and poet Pilani Bubu.

Their joint album Nay’ Indaba (Important Conversation) explores social themes in South Africa through a blend of jazz, soul and experimental influences. The music combines guitar riffs, brass arrangements and traditional rhythmic elements. The project creates a musical dialogue between European and African traditions.
